Tashanti's International Film Trip

Tashanti has an opportunity of a lifetime. She has been asked to be an international film amabassador in Seoul, Korea.
Tashanti has been working with Facets for several years now. Doing their film camp in the summer and also working on special projects like being a juror for the Chicago Children's International Film Festival, presenting awards and speaking at their annual gala , worksed on a special documentary and has even been interviewed via radio for the Facets program.
Well this year she applied for the international amabassador program and she was selected.
She needs your help. The program covers room and board but not airfare and additonal fees.
So we are asking our friends and family to please contribute to allow her to participate in such an amazing event. The airfare is set to cost between $1500-1800.
Any donation big or small is appreciated and valued.

2015 Dates – August 5 – 12, 2014 (approximate travel: August 2-13, 2015)
Teens ages 13 - 18, have the opportunity to be a part of the youth jury of the Seoul International Youth Film Camp who will
produce short film and learn film criticism.
