Taneisha's Study Abroad Costa Rica

Hi! My name is Taneisha Dawkins, I am a sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I am working towards receiving my bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies. After graduating my plan is to attend Grad school at New York University or San Francisco State University to obtain a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education. With these degrees I plan to begin my own Early Intervention Program for special needs children.

This study abroad trip to Costa Rica will be beneficial to my future career and future goals because it will help me to better understand and communicate with the Latino community. These funds will help to cover my airfare and program cost. Any donations are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
