Taina's Medical Fund

April 24, 2015 started as a typical school day for Taina.  She attended her morning classes and celebrated a friend's birthday with cupcakes at lunch.  Taina developed a headache that afternoon and it became more severe as the day progressed.  Her mother, Olivia, realized something was seriously wrong and took her to the doctor.  Taina was sent to Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago for further testing.  She was diagnosed with two brain tumors.  Taina is now at home resting in preparation for surgery to remove the tumors.  Her mother had to take a leave of absence from work to provide around the clock care.  Medical expenses and household bills are piling up.  Please consider donating to help ease financial worries for this family.  Feel free to share this site with others.  Most of all, please keep Taina in your thoughts and prayers.
