Kathmandu15

As many of you know Jay was (and still is) in Kathmandu when the devastating 7.8 earthquake hit on Saturday.  The city and large parts of rural Nepal are absolutely devastated by the damage caused by this earthquake.  People are without homes, food, and clean water. People are camped out in tents all over as they are too afraid to go back into buildings.  There have been over 50 aftershocks that send people running for their lives each time.  It has been storming and raining which makes the situation that much more difficult.  Jay is on the ground helping families to dig and clear debris. Over 5,000 people are confirmed dead and the numbers are expected to double.  Please consider helping by making a donation.  Jay and I will ensure that the money goes directly to the people in need in Kathmandu.

Fears, tears, rubble. Crushed cars, bodies and spirits. Survival and death. Haves and nots. Violent earth with persistent human assault. Staying safe, moving little, knowing what's above in a brick city. 48 hour pounding heart that never sleeps and is always hurting. Huge 6.8 today and a gnarly 5am wake up call. Shacked up now with seven friends glued together while trapped. 3 Nepali, one Danish, Palestinian, Spain and American. We jump and run together supporting all the time. Wish I could have done more!!!!! . I am fine and love you all beyond the highest mountain. See u soon. Pray for all and been calm finally for almost 7 hours. Please stop please! Getting it done with constant panic but don't worry! I am just one while many are dead and so lucky and grateful to be alive!
