Nepal Earthquake Aid

Hi all. If you don't know me personally, my name is Emma Murray and I am trying to raise money on behalf of my friends in Nepal who have been affected by the earthquake which struck the Himalayan region earlier today. I am from Vermont, USA but traveled to the Himalayas in 2013 on a trek to Mount Everest's Base Camp and befriended many Nepalese while there.
As many of you have heard by now, Nepal was hit by a magnitude 7.8 earthquake on Saturday, also causing massive avalanches around Mount Everest that took the lives of many climbers. To give you an idea of the scale of this quake, the earthquake that destroyed Haiti was a 7.0, and the earthquake that decimated San Francisco in 1906 was 7.8.
Buildings have been made into rubble, thousands of lives are feared to have been lost, and the history of this beautiful country is forever changed.
While countries around the world are coming together to organize disaster response teams and provide monetary aid, I am working alongside a friend in Nepal (Nirajan) and a friend stateside (Bruce) to raise money to support this suffering country. Please consider donating-any amount is incredible.
As of now, the money will go into my PayPal account through GoFundMe, and from there to Nirajan. The donations will be dispersed among the most affected villages in Nepal for food, water, clothing, medicine, and any other support needed.
