BUNS - Nepal Earthquake Relief Fund

As many of you are aware, our beautiful country Nepal was hit by 7.9 magnitude earthquake this morning (25/04/2015). This traumatic phenomenon has taken the lives of over 1400 people, with figures still increasing, many are injured and countless people are trapped under ruins. The earthquake has destroyed several historical and cultural landmarks. Our historical 19th century Dharahara no longer stands and Durbar square a UNESCO world heritage site has turned to dust. The effect of this earthquake is immense and Nepal needs all the help it can get right now.
Devastated by the news, the members of BUNS (Brunel University Nepalese Society) have taken the initiative to raise funds to aid the victims who are in need of basic essentials at this stage. The funds which are raised will be sent to a reliable source back home in Nepal and it will be used to help those who are directly affected by this disaster. So, please donate as much or as little as you can, any amount of donation is welcomed.
Nepal did not have much to begin with but it was enough and to lose all that within minutes is heartbreaking. We hope that in this dark time, we can all unite as a nation and help rebuild Nepal.
