Nepal Earthquake
Donation protected
My name is Tenzing Paldon Nepali (Pela). I am a Nepalese citizen currently living in Glendale (Arizona), where I am an MBA student at the Thunderbird School of Global Management. I have set up this campaign to raise funds for my fellow citizens back home who have been affected by this devastating earthquake.
Kalyani:
The funds will be utilized by Kalyani, a registered NGO in Nepal that I founded with six other friends. We are a small team of young and dedicated people.
Our aim is to ensure that the right people benefit from these funds. We have been working on distributing food, water, medicines, tents and essential supplies to those affected.

Updated:
On 25 April 2015, a 7.9 magnitude earthquake hit my country, Nepal. The current death stoll stands at 7040 with thousands injured. Many places outside Kathmandu, such as Lamjung, Gorkha and Everest Base Camp have been affected.
The immediate need on the ground is for medical support, search and rescue, emergency shelters and food and water among many other things. My country isn't adequately prepared to deal with this kind of catastrophe and therefore, I urge everyone to donate.
My deepest thanks to everyone who is going to support us. As the days, weeks and months go by and after the humanitarian needs are addressed, Nepal will need to begin the healing and rebuilding process. Please keep Nepal in your prayers!
