My Cancer/Medical Expenses

Donation protected
Hey y'all, I'm Angela Woodson, for those who may not know me or my situation, allow me to describe it.
A little over a year and half ago, a lump popped up on the hard palate (roof of my mouth). In hopes it would go away, I never thought much about it and just kept praying it would go away or that it wasn't serious. In January of 2016, it started causing me lots of pain! Making it difficult to eat, drink, swallow, even talk. It felt like I had a chronic sore throat without ever being sick. Then come February, I was so miserable I went to One Medical and that doctor diagnosed it as "hard palate abscess", gave me antibiotics and pain killers, none the less the pain never subsided, and no changes were made after the round of antibiotics. So, I decided to seek medical attention by E. N. T., Dr Richmond and he became concerned for me and took a biopsy of the lump on March 24, 2016. On March 31, I was diagnosed with a malignant tumor and called it "Cystic Carcinoma of the major salivary glands". Never in a hundred years would I have expected that this could happen to me, who would??
On May 11, 2016 Dr Richmond went in and removed the tumor and it had been left opened in hopes that any cancer cells may not be able to survive without much blood flow. I am now 6 months post operation and the hole has significantly closed up on its own, but it sure has been difficult relearning how to eat and drink without choking, and trying to avoid food and liquids entering through my sinuses and back out again. Now here I am, medically and financially in debt, stressed enough as it is, more CT scans being done, and will be starting Intense Modulated Radiation treatment on October 17, 2016 (the week of my 34th birthday). Treatment will go 5 days a week for 6 weeks to make sure we are able to get rid of, if any, lingering cancer cells. I'm not positive what insurance will cover or not, and I'm not sure if I will have to miss work as I don't have sick time or PTO available. I'm very shy about asking for help, But I know there are good hearted people out there and I can't do it alone. I need positive support and uplifting and everyone's thoughts and prayers are so precious to me!! I appreciate those who have helped before and I don't expect anything. But even if $10 is what you can afford, it will still be wholeheartedly loved and appreciated. For those who do not want to donate online, I have a "Medical Fund" account at Cendera Bank in Bells that any monetary donations can be made to, and can be made anonymous as well.
I have added some photos (before surgery, day of surgery, and after surgery) of my "Journey" over the summer just to give an idea of the mess I've been through, but getting better everyday! (Some photos are upside that I couldn't change. If you get queasy, please ignore.
That's my story, feel free to contact me with any questions, my husband Ashley Woodson, or any of my family.
I love you all and thank you in advance! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
