Medical Mission to Haiti

Dr Susan Baskin plans to join Julienne Lebrun and her organization, A Serving Heart, to provide basic medical care to those in need in Haiti.
A Serving Heart is a non-profit, grassroots organization that serves in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
They are a volunteer based organization with 100% of the donations received, applied directly to a specified project or program. A Serving Heart works under the guidance of the local pastors who know the people, culture, and challenges in their respective areas.
Dr Baskin plans to visit and provide her service in three different clinics over a period of seven days, from March 28th - April 4th.
Each clinic costs $400 to run. The clinics provide basic primary care that otherwise is nonexistent in this impoverished area. Dr Baskin is also attempting to raise additional funds for a cement block house to built to provide shelter for a family with a chronically ill child that has only known a dirt floor as her bed.
