We're buying an abandoned village in Spain!!!
The village of Salto De Castro sits 200 meters above the Duero River, on the border with Portugal, in a UNESCO Biosphere and surrounded by a trans-border national park.
Eventually, we'll be opening a hotel, hostel, event center/church, recording studio and retreat, and a hilltop pool & recreation area with stunning views, in a peaceful environment that will never be spoiled.
The total cost of the restoration & transformation of Salto De Castro is estimated to be between 5-8 million Euros (5.5-8.5 million USD).
This first fundraiser is to complete the acquisition of the village and the land around it, hire a grant & subsidy specialist, complete studies on the village's major systems, make an accurate overall budget/timeline, and begin work on the church.
Once we've cleared this hurdle, we'll begin raising the rest of the money, applying for grants & subsidies, and begin the major projects.
