Support for Fernanda

On New Year’s Eve our friend Fernanda collapsed and was hospitalized due to a vascular malformation, which is very similar to an aneurysm. She underwent emergency brain surgery at VGH to remove the malformed vessels and blood from her brain. The surgery was successful and she is currently in critical but stable condition. She is being monitored very closely and at this time we are still unaware of the affect this may have had on her.  Fernanda and her husband Joseph are expecting a baby girl in the Spring and we are happy to hear that the she is doing well and the fetal heartbeat sounds good.

This campaign will help with the costs of keeping Fernanda in the best care and her husband Joe at her side in Vancouver. Our goal is to also aid in getting Fernanda’s family from Brazil to Vancouver and support them in any way we can.

When these things happen the last thing anyone should have to worry about is finances. Any donations for Fernanda, Joe, and her family would be incredibly helpful. If you are not in a place to donate at this time, prayers and healing wishes are much appreciated.

The road to recovery may be long but Fernanda is an amazing and strong woman. With the support of her husband, family, friends and faith she can heal.
