I am Senseï Pascal Déry, 3rd-degree Black Belt in Kenpo-Karate from Ste-Julie, Qc, Canada (near Montréal, Qc, Canada) and Head Instructor at my own karate school: Karaté Sunfuki Longueuil.
During the last two years, I have been training and competing immensly hard in order to participate in my very first WKC World Karate Championships !
After winning 6 National Titles in Canada , I am proud to - finally - have the opportunity to proudly represent my country to the Worlds in Orlando, FL, USA this coming November (2017).
My motivation resides in my strong belief in constant personal improvement, evolution and development and - above all else - in my stronger desire to inspire my 130+ students from ages 3 and up that setting goals and challenges for oneself is the key to acheive self-confidence and be succesful in Life in general.
The generosity and the funds I am humbly asking you for will fo towards these elements:
- Stay at the Championships' venue - Wyndham Resort Orlando International - from November 5th (Opening Ceremonies) to the 11th (Finals).
- Air travel from Montréal, Qc, Canada to Orlando, FL, USA (Economy, Air Canada).
- Entry costs to all 5 Form divisions I have already qualified for at the Canadian Nationals (Hard Style, Classical, Traditional Weapons, Creative Weapons, Freestyle).
I hope with all my heart to make my students - and all of my contributors - proud of my future accomplishments. I also wish that my martial arts endeavor will inspire YOU to set new challenges for yourself - whatever they may be - and find your inner strength.

Proud of being part of Team Canada 2017
