Technology Help for my Students!

Hello!
My name is Melissa Bushnell and I work at a small school in Michigan City, IN. This is technically my first year teaching in my own classroom! I've been teaching now for three years, but only taught in long term subbing positions for teachers that were on maternity or sick leave. This year has been great, I love my students and love my school, however, we are severely lacking technology. My students barely see a computer throughout the week. We have only one computer in our classroom, of which sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I want my students to have the opportunities to explore what technology can offer them in the future. We desperately need help with purchasing laptops for our class. We need these computers to help with understanding learning goals and understanding what technology is and how it can help. Will you help us? We need 24 computers for our classroom. If we had these computers, we would be able to learn how to conduct research, type documents, and explore the internet for famous historical figures that have shaped our ever changing world. Many of my students do not have access to technology at home and this would allow them to learn more effectively. No child learns the same and the use of technology helps to address all of my students! Will you help us?
