St Camillus Sustainable Farm Fund
Donation protected
Thank you to the donors who helped St. Camillus Centre in Lesotho raise $6250 and build a Sustainable Farm - in the nick of time.
Your donations helped The Centre increase food security and self sufficiency for the orphanage and divert a potential disaster. Southern Africa is in a severe drought and the country of Lesotho has just declared a drought emergency.
Your generous donations enabled St. Camillus to:
-Complete the irrigation project and plant an acre of cabbages and peppers, in the midst of a severe drought
-Drill an additional well to help the orphanage and the village
-Pay wages to farm laborers
-Sell their first crops
-Improve the health and weight of the children with purchases of nutritious food
With Gratitude,
The Kids and Staff at St. Camillus
Your tax deductible donations were made through The Lesotho Connection - a US-based registered 501(c)3 organization, tax exempt # 26-2438807. All contributions, less any fees, are tax deductible in the US.
