What you may not know is how this never-stop-the-funk effort has taken its toll on his back.
After months of struggle and agony, the diagnosis is finally in "“ multiple bulging and herniated discs. Yep, it's serious, and the treatment will require intensive medical intervention and months of physical rehab. You may be thinking, "Isn't that going to be expensive? I bet he doesn't have insurance!" And you would be right. Just like many musicians and artists, he has no insurance. Even if could qualify for a very expensive policy, there would be a six-month waiting period.
He cannot wait that long "“ the injury is so severe and the pain is so intense that it needs attention NOW.

Initial evaluation and treatment at the OHSU Pain Management Clinic. He just signed on the dotted line and already owes $2,000 for a recent Spinal Injection...that has yet to work! Yikes.
Ongoing treatment, physical therapy, equipment and other medical needs
Living expenses for a few months so he can concentrate on rehab and not further aggravate his injury...meaning no bartending.
Here's the FUN stuff: Upgrades to solovox.com to add a MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP feature, which will offer subscribers rarely-heard sets and songs from his massive archives as well as exclusive new tracks. The subscription service is going to be THE new thing. He plans on releasing a full brand new song every week only to the subscribers, and each track will be made with the personal care he wants to gratefully reflect back to his supportive community.
Every donor will receive a limited edition recording of his recent 10-year anniversary show. The first half features classic Solovox tunes, with appearances by Jen Folker, Jason Wells and Soriah.
