A musical live event raising resources to provide books, reading materials and clothes for Children's Homes in Sofia, Bulgaria and the surrounding region taking place in the Grindhouse Skate Club .
Underground culture has been known to be ridiculed and judged for its image and its way of life. Through SOFIA UNDER INITIATIVE we are ready to show that we are capable of working and performing together and help eachother and those in need!
This is an event taking place on the 3rd of July in an outdoor club in Sofia, Bulgaria. The aim is to present up and coming hip hop artists and with the resources gathered to provide funding and materials for a Charitable Organization :
1. People will be able to donate books and clothes at the entrance which will be used by the "Free Center for Free People " organization which operates multiple free musical, literature, dance and cultural workshops within Bulgaria, with the mission to stimulate learning and intellectual growth within youth, who cannot otherwise afford it.
2. A 25% from the entrance fee as well as money gathered from this fundraiser will be given to the Free Center for Free People to fund the organization's next Festival taking place in the end of july near Ezdomirci Village
The event itself will present the music of the hip-hop bands 5 O'clock, and CMA Crew as well as artistsMC Potreblenie , Secta and others. It will have a couple of crowd games, giving away free drink with the aim of attracting more people and donators.
The fundraser posted here has the aim to gather resources for the required marketing (priting of posters, transport cost and food provision expenses.)
Disclaimer: All money raised, not spent by the end of the event will be added to the money raised from the event to go to funding the transport and allocation of the gathered donations.
SOFIA UNDER INITIATIVE
This is a series of events which will take place in the summer 2015 with the aim of creating a positive image for the underground culture in Sofia, Bulgaria and will later expand to other parts of Bulgaria. The mission of the organizing comittee is to popularize underground culture with it's positive sides and help better the image infront of the audience.
