Moving Mountains Inc provides free performing arts programming for youth ages 10-21 during the school year. Students interested in careers in the arts are taught by industry professionals.
Founded in 2007 by Jamie Hector, MMI offers drama, dance, vocal and film classes with an emphasis on building character and supporting academic success.
Moving Mountains would like to offer these same services during the summer months for younger students 6 to 13 years old who are often unsupervised or under suppervised during the day when school is out in under served communities.
The summer can be a dangerous time for innner city youth. MMI would like to continue providing a safe, fun and nurturing environment for inner city youth. Help Jamie and the team to change lives for the better this summer.
