Tosha`s retirement fund.

Hello my name is Leona Pennell. It is with great sadness that I come to this site for help. You see I have a dog, her name is Tosha she is a Lab, Collie and Pit bull mix. She is 15 years old. We bought her for our sons when they were young, she was only a few weeks old. Tosha has been a wonderful loyal friend and great protector, I hate to use the word pet because she is more like family. I will never forget all those days playing with her. She loved to play keep away with Tim Horton trays, and would steal the kids mitts while playing in the snow.  She always slept with the kids and you could hear her do her rounds and check that everyone was safe at night. In the last few years Tosha has become ill, On her last visit to the vet  she was dignosed with Ring worm,  which i have tried to no avail to treat at a cost of 300$ for meds and speical shampoo, she has cronic yeast in her ears meds cost 200$, her eyes are starting to go, and she has arthritis in her back hips, and her legs give out on her to the point I can no longer take her for walks. She also has a hard time just getting up and has been being more vocal about it. The  vet also discovered lumps.  The total bill was 654.12$ I have come to the pain staking decission that I can no longer afford to treat her and that it is time to let her go and not be in pain anymore. I spent my day calling the vets to price how much this will cost. I was quoted a few prices. The first being from the humane socity for 200$ just drop her off and thats it. Not really fitting for a beautiful girl who gave so much to us.  The next call was to a vet who offered the same price, however if I could come up with a bit more I could bring her ashes home so she can be with us forever. I would like to bring her Ashes home.  That is why I have turned to you, I am hoping that someone who loves thier furry family member as much as we do will help me pay for this very sad day. I am on a disablity  I only get enough to live on and  I don`t have this kind of money on hand to give my girl a proper good bye. Please feel it in your heart to help me end the suffering for my girl Tosha. Thank you in advance this really means the world to me.
