My name is Mark Kornfeld. On behalf of myself and my wife Dawn Kornfeld, Robert Frazer and Michelle Voon, Jeffrey and Suzanne Feldman, Michael and Jodi Eisner and Jonathan Somerstein we establish here The Seth Popper Memorial Fund in order to help raise money for Seth's loved ones.
Our lifelong friend died unexpectedly of a massive heart attack on Memorial Day, May 26, 2014 at the young age of 47. Seth left us all far too early. He is survived by his wife Stacey Popper, and his young children, son Jake, 9 and daughter Avery, 7, as well as his sister Amy Hyland and his mother Ellen.
Seth was a proud resident of Manalapan, NJ, a treasured member of the Broadway community, where he served as a trusted labor lawyer, as well as someone who was beloved by his many friends from Briarwood, Stuyvesant, Penn, Fordham, and Proskauer Rose.
His children are both in elementary school. Due to the loss of their father, who was the sole provider, the Popper family can use our support. Seth very much wanted to provide his incredible wife, Stacey, and their children a wonderful and comfortable life. As Seth’s dear friends we are coming together to help fulfill Seth’s wish for his family and would love any and all financial support you wish to provide. Our fund raising goal is $250,000. All contributions minus the administrative costs to the site shall be delivered to Stacey for the benefit of her, Jake and Avery.
