Tetyana is a medical doctor, an intensive care unit professional, from Lutsk, Ukraine.
Tetyana has been most active in the revolution of Dignity in Ukraine.
In 2014, Tetyana was very active serving in one of the Maidan hospitals on Kreschatyk in Kyiv.
In the fall 2014, a number of Ukrainian physicians formed a volunteer quick response unit to serve near the front lines. This group concluded that they could save every third men who was dying, because they were transported to the hospital, by providing treatment to them as soon as possible after the injury. As Tetyana was serving her 2-week volunteer service at the village of Pisky, near Donetsk airport, her team got gassed by Russian military. Tetyana was severely intoxicated. As she regained the function of the kidneys, her liver stopped working. In order to survive, given her diagnosis, she must have a liver transplant operation as soon as possible. Apparently, liver transplants are not done in Ukraine and her friends are looking to other countries.
