Mary's Mantle-New House Furnishings

Mary’s Mantle, a Catholic residential home for homeless expectant mothers, provides food, shelter, guidance, and life-saving services for homeless pregnant women and their children. Since opening we have served 44 homeless women and their babies.

We are incredibly humbled to announce that we have outgrown our current residence. Therefore we are moving to a larger, beautiful home situated on a 2 acre parcel in Southfield Michigan (see picture below). This new home will allow us to expand our services and offerings to our women in residence, while remaining true to our vision of providing a Catholic, residential home to homeless expectant mothers.

As we prepare to move into our new residence we are reaching out to the broader community to fundraise certain home furnishings such as the following: (i) laptops & desks, (ii) furniture (sofas & chairs), (iii) patio set, (iv) rugs, etc. We estimate the total cost to furnish the house to be $10,000 and would be blessed by the community’s donations to assist us in achieveing this goal.
