Schiehallion ward 2a Xmas appeal

As most our friends know on the 1st of december 2016 Riley was diagnosed with ( ALL ) Acute lymphoblastic leukemia and started treatment the next day,We spent that Xmas on schiehallion ward 2a at glasgows royal hospital for children, Riley started a 28 induction treatment of chemotherapy where he was expected to reach remission,after a lumper puncture on day 28 the doctors didnt get enough bone marrow and it had to be done again, at day 35, When doctors came in and said Riley had to be moved to regiment c which ment a more intense treatment plan,We were devasted, but as the doctors explained a little bit more would help keep the leukemia away.
We are now on our 8th week at home and On the 1st of decemember 2017 we will be a 1 year into treatment,Riley still has 2 years 4 months of treatment to go where he will gets chemo at home every day,steriods for 5 days every month and a visit to glasgow every 12 weeks for a lumper punchure.
This is our journey so far.
We decided to try and do some fundraising for the ward Riley was treated on for the children & there Xmas apeal
We know after spending Xmas on schiehallion how important it is for parents to know that theres people out there that care about children going threw childhood cancer.
To see your child forget about the treatment for a short period,some times just for a moment,when you see that smile again,it can mean the world.
There is so many familys there from the highlands & islands
Everyone at the royal hospital try so hard to make Xmas a very special time for all the children and they are all amazing people
this year lets join these special people by giving a gift from the highlands to the children & the royal hospital for childrens Xmas apeal
please share this threw facebook to reach as many communities as we can
Were going to start it with a personal donation of £500 from ourself threw the gofund page,
this comes from funds that was raised by friends and family & local community for Riley,
We are also going to donate £10 from every m.o.t done at the garage (dornoch m.o.t centre ) for the next 30 days
this is to try and encourage other businesses to make a donation or help in some small way
we will also be in tescos on the 14th of november doing bag packing,
b&q have also donated Orange buckets,Orange been the colour for leukaemia
Hopefully you will see these in your local shops,anyone who would like one with a letter from the childrens hospital giving permission for them to collect funds on there behalf please get intouch,take it your work,put it in your bar,shop,garage etc
every penny counts from the largest to the smallest even if its £1
