"When Travis and Debra welcomed their first-born son, Jaxxon into the world, they never expected that only six months later they, along with Jaxxon's big sister Chevell, 3, would feel so helpless as they sat by his side as he lay in the hospital battling Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis, a rare, potentially fatal blood disorder requiring intense chemotherapy, and possibly, even a bone marrow transplant. Complicating his condition even further, he is subsequently suffering from rhiovirus and parainfluenza as well, causing him to be intubated and fitted with a tube to remove the excess fluid from his lungs. In conjunction with the chemotherapy, he will require a strong cocktail of steroids to treat this infection.

Now, as baby Jaxxon's future is uncertain, and he spends his days on a ventilator in the hospital, both Travis and Debra pray for their son's health, as well as relief from the mounting medical bills that are already piling up.

Please, if you have it in your hearts to help baby Jaxxon, give in any amount possible. It will be so greatly appreciated and will make a world of difference in this deserving little boy's and his family's life. No parent should have to fear losing their child, especially when it's only just begun. We may not be able to save Jaxxon ourselves, but we can pray, and we can help a shoulder the burden of their rising medical bills."
