Saving starving Charlie

This is Charlie. I found him at a local park by himself shaking and scared. He is extremely skinny and couldn't put any weight on his leg. I couldn't leave him there alone. I took him to the vet and was told his leg was broken, probably from a force trauma and he's extremely emaciated. He is scheduled to have emergency surgery, which will cost about $3,500.00. His femur was broken close to his knee, and we are unsure how long it had been broken. The fracture can be seen in his X-ray above and will require a pin to set it, if the leg can still be saved.
Charlie will still require weekly check-ups for the next 8 weeks, and a second surgery to remove the pin once his femur has healed. His other option is to be euthanized since it is a costly treatment and I cannot afford it. I'm not going to give up on Charlie. I want to get him better and adopt him. Please help me by donating to his treatment. This is not something that was in my plans so financially, I can't help him but with your help, I can get him on the road to recovery and give him the best life he deserves.
