When you are the single mother of 4 children, things are bound to get out of hand if you don’t count with a support system. I didn’t have one, I still don’t. I never thought I’d see the man I loved running out on his 4 children, but it happened, and I can’t just sit and fall apart.

I love this house, my kids love this house, they grew up in it, we don’t want to let it go, we can’t let it go, if we do, we would be homeless. I recently got a job, but again, is not easy to come up with what is needed to pay the state the taxes to keep our home. The house is paid for, but to keep it I have to pay the taxes; I need to get a payment plan with the city and a lot is needed to do that.

Maybe is presumptuous of me to assume people will just help; I know it doesn’t work like that, but this is a cry from help from a mother that wants to keep a home to see her children grow, to keep them protected, to watch as they turn out great citizens, because they are headed in that direction already.

Yes, this is a cry for help and it took me a long time to reach out, but I have hope.
