Save Reptile Rescue Orange County!

For nearly 10 years Reptile Rescue Orange County has taken in, cared for and rehabilitated injured and abandoned reptiles in the Los Angeles area.


A handful of the animals in their care are former pets, surrendered when they stopped being exotic and trendy. 

Some were performing animals kept in brutal and inhumane conditions. 

Many are cast-offs from LA's film and entertaiment industry. When the camera stops rolling, the human performers move on to bigger and better roles. The animals performers often end up at the rescue.


Recently their building was slated for demolition. The news came as a surprise, and the rescue is struggling to find a place that will accommodate
them. 

They need 10,000 dollars immediately to put down a deposit and rent for a new building. 

How the money will be used: 

The money will be used to put down a rental deposit for a building to house the rescue.

For the past months, the rescue staff and volunteers have desperately tried to come up with the money. Donations drives have come up short, and staff members have resorted to selling off their belongings. 

Without immediate help, the thousands of rescued and abused and recovering animals that are currently housed at the rescue risk euthanasia.
