Santa Fe Portalfest 2023

Tax deductible

Santa Fe Portalfest brings you New Mexico's second annual neighborhood porch music festival on August 12, 2023. Let’s make it even bigger & better than last year! Portalfest is a free, DIY, independent music festival hosted on portales, driveways, and yards in an eight-block radius in the La Madera/Alto Park neighborhood. In addition to live music, Portalfest hosts a local art market, community wellness area, and food vendors.

Last year we were proud to host 27 bands across 5 stages, an art market with 6 vendors, and food trucks down Lopez Street. We raised money through tip jars and a raffle. This year, we cannot wait to bring you an even bigger, more diverse lineup of musicians, performers, and vendors from across New Mexico. To do that, we need money! Our fundraising priority is to pay our talent. Beyond that, we would love to pay our organizers a stipend for their time, pay a land tax to a local indigenous organization, and cover the cost of supplies, rentals, and equipment for the festival.

We are asking for donations, big or small, to reach our goal of $16,750. With a budget of $16,750, we can bring you the Portalfest of our (2023) dreams. All donations are 100% tax deductible! We have a fiscal sponsorship with Queen Bee Music Association, a local community music school and non-profit organization. Read more about our budget at the bottom of the page.

We understand that we all have different financial capacities and we only ask that you give what you are able. If you don’t have the capacity to support us financially but still want to help out, there are so many ways!
SHARE! You can share this Gofundme with your friends, family members, coworkers, or anyone who can contribute. Do you work somewhere that might be interested in sponsoring us? Tell us more about that and share it with your boss!
PERFORM, HOST, VEND, OR VOLUNTEER! You can be involved in Portalfest as a musician, host, vendor, or volunteer. We would love to have you! Our application forms are all live and can be found on our website.

Portalfest is by the community for the community. Thank you for being here and supporting us, the DIY music scene in Santa Fe, and the incredibly talented musicians that will be on stage this year.
