Sandy Cody (Barnes) Memorial Fund

Spending your life serving others is a hard job to do but Sandy Cody did it for 30 plus years and did it with a smile and a vigor that made you believe she was doing God's work. Her infectious laugh echoed through every place she ever worked. Many many hours on her feet at places like Hen House, Denny's, Perkins and Steak 'N Shake,  doing what she loved to support her 4 kids, Tina Hackwith, Shannon Hackwith, Nick Hackwith and Jody Fuchs, as well as helping an extended family where she could because thats the way she was raised and thats how she raised her children...to help each other where you could. Rarely asking for help,now Sandy needs ours. On Tuesday April 4, 2017 Sandy passed away peacefully leaving behind a family in mourning. Coming from humble beginnings, and ending up there, Sandy had no life insurance to cover her very modest burial and funeral service . However even a low end funeral service cost around 10K dollars. With all of her children following in her footsteps and going into the food service industry, there isn't much to count on to cover the costs. We are humbling asking for your help to lay Sandy to rest with her mother who she has longed to be with for so many years. Any help will be so greatly appreciated. You cannot know the peace it would bring her family to know she has a place to rest her weary soul. She will be so missed by so many. Please, if Sandy has ever brought you joy, a smile, or even a stack of pancakes, help her find eternal peace. Thank you for your time and consideration.
