Greetings! First, we'd like to thank you for taking a moment to read our story, share our GoFundMe page, and provide any support, love and encouragement to realize our dream of creating the Sacred Union Arts/SUA space.

I'm Phoenix, a certified Fitness, Yoga, & Dance Instructor, Choreographer & Artist. And I'm Kevin, a Master Jiu Jitsu Instructor and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Our union, on and off the mat, has inspired and manifested the creation of Sacred Union Arts. Sacred Union Arts is our unified vision of a Holistic Oasis where classes, products and services will be offered that educate and empower the community to live Healthy & Harmoniously. With our shared 40+ years of knowledge and experience, we are seeking a space where we can provide our unique blend of Movement Arts while promoting cultural diversity, holistic healing, and Body/Mind balance.

UPDATES APRIL 2023

We were leasing a space in Ft Lauderdale, Florida and had begun exciting new renovations and additions to help create our vision.

This cultural space was to offer a professional and artistically designed environment for our community to thrive.

We invested our love, time, hard work & money in flooring, planting, painting, new lighting, large ceiling fans, a new bathroom, yoga flooring, jiu-jitsu mats, mirrors & equipment.

On Wednesday night, April 12 & 13, there was a 1 in 1000 year rain event that completely flooded out major parts of Ft. Lauderdale and other parts of South Florida. People were stranded, lost homes, cars...and unfortunately, we lost the gym. Water came in from the front street and the back alley flooding the entire building. Kevin has held his Jiu Jitsu Tribal Gym at that location since November 2016, building a tight-knit community and dedicated clientele that trained with him for years. It was a devastating loss overnight. Losing a business and with revovations in process....losing our dream of Sacred Union Arts.

We thank you all for the heartfelt support in helping to realize the dream of SUA. We are still 100% dedidcated to making this happen. Your financial assistance will go towards Facilty purchase/rental, mats, flooring, mirrors, lights, equipment, etc. We believe the community deserves a warm inviting professional holistic oasis to practice the movement arts.
