Thanks for visiting!  This page is meant to help you support Ryan and Tanya Stephens in their adoption fundraising campaign! 

Have you heard the expression "Raising Arrows"? 


It comes from a scripture in Psalms and refers to what we, as parents, devote our lives to...raising our children! We work, pray and hope each day that our children will grow to be strong, smart, honest, and true.  In preparing the way for these "arrows" to achieve their great potential we are referred to as Warriors. Warrior mothers and Warrior fathers...and if I can be so bold as to say it, I agree that we are! 


We forge and craft these beautiful "arrows", knowing well what we want them to become.  We take particular care of them and leave our special marks.  We carry them on our backs, as arrows in a quiver, until they find their moment to fly.  When they do we pray they fly true, in the direction we've pointed them, toward their bright destinations.  And when they ultimately fill the measure of their creation, we celebrate and feel the immense gratitude that comes from having been blessed with them. 


Ryan and I felt the earliest stages of that joy when we became parents to Chloe, a remarkable little girl, who was brought into our family as a newborn through adoption.  She is 3 years old now and our greatest treasure. She is more loved than I can describe, by us and by our family members. 


Whether you are a parent or not, your influence is felt in the life of the children around you and you can make their lives better. We weren't given the tools necessary to create our "arrows", but we have certainly been willing to move mountains in order to find those children that are meant for us.  And we'll move even more to make sure they grow up strong, loved and true.

It was as I was reflecting on this great responsibility that a powerful phrase came to mind: 

Raising Arrows, Moving Mountains

Which of us would not move mountains to make sure our children, or "arrows" as the expression goes, find their safe and proper place in the world?! 

Ryan and I know we are meant to see more children join our family, but we need your help to make this a concrete possibility!  Adoption is expensive, and made much easier with the help of an army.  As fellow warriors, we hope you'll be willing to help us out.  

With that said, we are excited to announce the launch of our adoption fundraising campaign, officially titled: Raising Arrows, Moving Mountains.  

Our first community fundraiser featured tshirts, generously printed by Uniformity, a local business owned by Tanya's cousin, Chelsea C.  We experienced tremendous support through this fundraiser!  It brought us $5500 closer to our adoption goal.  Thank you!  We hope you are loving your shirts and that they bring a sense of pride to the efforts you place in raising your "arrows" day to day!


So you know what we have been doing on our end...

In addition to his full time job, Ryan has been taking on private jobs fixing computers and helping his uncle grow a marketing strategy for his businesses.  This has helped us alot.  Thank you M&C!  I have been creating various "cakes" and other crafts to celebrate babies, weddings and holidays in the community and work 2-4 days a week as a dental hygienist to put money aside while we pursue this dream.  If you are interested in purchasing a diaper cake, a wreath or something of the like,  contact me! If you can imagine it, or search it out on pinterest, I will do my best to create it for you!  Crafting is my jam.  I love it.  


We are currently writing grant proposals and putting aside money each month in our savings accounts to support this goal and dream, but community fundraising has helped us tremendously so we are planning something new!

Our NEXT fundraising venture will be a PANCAKE FUNDRAISER, held on September 16, 17 in Ogden, Utah.
