Half Marathon for Calf Sanctuary

I am taking part in the Great Scottish Run Half Marathon on 4 October 2015 to raise funds for C-A-L-F Sanctuary . This is a wonderful, family run sanctuary in North Yorkshire, UK.
The sanctuary is home to some wonderful animals, including Duke Bullock and Kevin Lamb in the photo.
The sanctuary is owned and run by Sharon; she is a wonderful, caring, kind hearted individual, and she works so hard to give her fur family everything they need.
Not only is she a mother to her human children, but she is chief carer for all the amazing animals that she has rescued, she runs the Calf Cafe - an amazing Vegan cafe in Scarborough, she runs the sanctuary website , the sanctuary shop website and numerous facebook pages (Calf Facebook page , Duke Bullock's facebook page ). On top of this, she makes the majority of items that are for sale in the shop website . Have a look, there is something for everyone, including handmade sweets and treats!
At the moment, the majority of her time is dedicated to the care of Duke Bullock. He is an injured Hereford dwarf. When she rescued him, he was barely able to walk or stand. He has received lots of vet care, alternative medicine, hard work from Duke and Sharon, and lots of encouraging nudges from his little best friend, Kevin Lamb! Due to this, the cafe and the shop have had far less time than normal, and therefore less money is coming in. The other thing is that the while the sanctuary is now the forever home to such wonderful animals, their physical location is not forever as it is rented. So I want to try to raise as much money as possible to help towards the lifetime care of all the animals, and the Forever home of Calf Sanctuary itself. Once Calf is relocated, they will have the freedom to build, make modifications to suit individual animals needs, have regular volunteers, and raise far more money to help ensure all these deserving lives, are lived out in the happiness, and security that they should always have had!
