Hi all, this is Felix here from @rt of Felix with a pledge to help support the @rt.

About me: I am a London based Photographer/Artist looking to take my skills to the next level with the goal of becoming a Pro Photographer/Content Creator which has been a life long dream.
Without trying to lay down an X-Factor type sob story, I am also a Sickle Cell warrior who has been co-existing with the condition since birth & as of late been going through various tough times health wise.
Recently, I have had to quit my job because of the stress of working in a demanding Retail/Night shift environment just trying to make ends meet & provide for my young son which has contributed to the health issues so after conusultations with my GP, working a regular (9 - 6) job is not adviseable - at least for the moment...
Because of this, I have decided the time is right for me to pursue a new career path & simultaneously provide a service to those who need a freelance photographer for whatever occasion & appreciate art in various forms.
So why do I need funding you ask?
Well during my last hospital admittance from a traumatic Sickle Cell crisis / during the journey to start up @rtoffelix, I had my photpgraphy gear mysteriously taken from me which included a Canon 500D, multiple batteries, carbon fibre tripod, 1x 18 - 55mm lens, 1x 75 - 300mm lens, a flash gun & a BlackRapid Sport RS camera strap... Needless to say these items weren't cheap!
At the moment I am 'getting by' with a Lumia 950 & the helpful lending of my brother's camera but it's not something I can use on a permanent basis.
Having my own gear will enable me to not only put out higher quality content but also on a much more regular basis.
Also, I plan to set up a YouTube channel for budding artists/photographers/art creators starting in the London area.
Any proceeds/donations will go towards the cost of kickstarting adverts/promotions/merchandise, providing regular content but mostly purchasing & replacing the missing camera equipment to include:
*A DSLR Camera, decent glass - aka DSLR Lenses, tripod, flash gun, camera strap & bag, etc.
(*And new haircut... I kid, I kid!)
