You can help end the spread of Polio in our lifetime in aiding us in our mission to India!
Hello and thank you for stopping by. I'm Tom Signorello from Jacksonville, Florida. A Rotarian from the South Jacksonville Club of District 6970.
Our mission is simple ... we all get two dates and a dash in life. A Birth date, an Ending date and a Dash. My mission is to make my Dash count and make this world a better place than how we found it.
The number one mission of Rotary International is to rid the world of Polio in our lifetime. We are so close! As of this post, less than 70 cases of Polio have been reported on the entire planet in all of 2017! While we may be so close, we cannot stop here!
This is where you can help!
My wife, Hadley and I have been asked by our Leadership in Rotary International, District 6970 to travel to India in January, 2017 for a two week mission trip.
The goal will be to immunize as many children as possible who are at risk in the Northern Region of India (Classified as Third-World area).
Money's raised from this campaign will be used 100% for our journey and the fight against Polio. Our travel date is January 18th, 2017, so there isn't much time to meet our goal of $5,000 by mid January!
People have asked me "why are we doing this?". Simple ... I believe in listening to my conscience. I believe that in all of my life, whenever I listened to that inner voice inside of me, it has guided me along the right paths. I'm listening to that voice now and it's telling me to go now and take action to be a change in this world!
I will be eternally grateful to you and to those who support this mission. I know many of you personally who will be donating. Many of you, I may never meet. Please know that I will be truly grateful for each and every one of you who helps make the lives of innocent children who we probably will never meet, be better and live healthier lives.
