Rogan's wish

Rogans wish
Rogan my beautiful chocolate Labrador born 28th march 2003. My life long buddy who has always been there for me has gone through a really bad time recently. On the 23rd of August 14 rogan went into the vets and had a biopsy taken on a lump that had formed on his right hind leg.
When we got the results back nothing could really prepare me for what i was about to hear. It was cancer, a grade 3 tumor (soft tissue sarcoma) and thats when our fight started.
On the 16th of sept 14 rogan went back into the vets to see if our vet could surgically remove the tumor.
Unfortunately the tumor was in his joint too so his vet was unsuccessful removing it all.
The next step was amputation of the limb so on the 30th sept 14 my brave Rogan went in for his amputation.
I got to pick my special boy up a day later and he was so happy to see me and was walking amazingly.
The next few weeks were tough rogan couldn't handle his pain meds very well and couldn't settled we both ended up sleeping on the floor for weeks.
His walking also deteriorated.
So back to the vets for more x rays and we have found out that Rogans knee is really bad and he has torn his cruciate ligament in his remaining hind limb.
Extremely bad news and not the positive outcome we was hoping for.
So whats next surgery?
I'm kind of unsure about putting him through another major operation with a high risk.
So going to try some wheels for him and i think they may help build his strength back up and he can go on his daily walks again which he is missing so much.
The reason i have set a fund up for him is that i have had a lot of people wanting to kindly donate towards Rogan. I have decided that when i reach Rogans goal i want to help other dogs and their owners in similar situations to Rogan as i know how costly vets can be especially when your not insured.
I am totally overwhelmed by the support i have received  and i thank everyone who has followed Rogans journey and for your kind words.
Rogans wish is to walk in the fields again and be happy.
