Hi, I'm RoBKTA. You may remember me from such audio projects as Club Needlemouse, Cerulean DanceFloor, and OutRax. If you've found yourself here, then I have a tale to tell you.
I'm a 25 year old electronic music producer from Italy with a passion for video games, old school disco house, ties and suspenders. I absolutely love the Video Game and Chiptune Music scenes, and am blown away at the kindness, sheer amount of talent and camaraderie that exists here. Unfortunately, these scenes do not have the presence in my country and in Europe that they do in the United States. As a result, the opportunities to network and increase my reach are a challenge I face on a regular basis. MAGFest, the Music and Gaming Festival, is the largest confluence of VGM and Chiptune artists on the planet. Being there would be a fantastic opportunity for me to exhibit my music, to network with new artists, and to reach out to new fans and friends. Unfortunately, MAGFest is just outside of Washington D.C. in the United States and we don't yet have flying cars or teleporters to whisk me halfway across the planet.
That's why I'm asking for your help to "Get Him to the MAG!" I'm saving money every week and working on releasing new music in order to help pay for my travel and accommodation expenses, but as it stands I'm going to come up a bit short. If you can assist me in making it to MAGFest 13, your contribution goes toward my ability to make and release new music.
Any amount you can contribute is greatly appreciated from the bottom of my heart, but if you can contribute €5, you will get special pre-release access to a brand-new as of yet unannounced EP as a token of my thanks.
