Last spring in my dorm room I felt a huge amount of pain one day. It felt like the alien vs predator birth scene was about to happen. I went to the emergency room and began throwing up from the pain, so much so that my eyes were bloodshot for two weeks. They couldn't tell what was wrong after a week of me staying and assumed it was a cyst( These are common for young women and can often be painful) I got the cyst checked again in the Fall and decided to have it removed surgically to prevent anymore pain in December. This surgery could have been pushed for more than 5 years later. Once removed, they discovered it was actually a stage 3 tumor of Ovarian cancer also known as "The Silent Killer" Four surgeries and six months of chemotherapy later and they think I will be fine. I am still a full time student with dreams and I am so thankful. At first I was just focused on getting better, but now the costs are starting to show...I am putting myself through college so any help with my medical expenses would be appreciated. Please help me fight cancer and the costs of surviving it! Thank you!
