Resource Developers Conference Trip

Over the last 15 years of my ministry there has been one thing I've shared that people have again and again told me was hugely helpful to them. It's a simple yet powerful metaphor for human life and spirituality that I call "The L-Shaped Pipe" or "The Pipe" for short.

I now have the opportunity to share that teaching tool with a larger audience, and one that already places a high value on simple visual metaphors that can be used in disciplehsip.

I will be in South Carolina for the first ever "3dm Developers Conference" August 22-24 and will be sharing the Pipe with them.  3dm is a group of people and an organization that is dedicated to "Putting discipleship and mission back into the hands of everyday people." I have been working with them - and hugely blessed by their work - for the past 5 years. I see this as a huge opportunity to add something wonderful that I've developed to the "toolbox" they already share with an international audience. (You can find them at 3dmovements.com.)

Between travel, lodging and registration I am expecting it will cost me about $1,000 to attend the conference. I'm already registered and committed to go, but it would be a great help - and a great encouragement! - if others wanted to chip in a bit to help me cover these costs.
