Building a self sustainable House

Hello gofundme patrons

I would like to start by introducing my self: my name is Thomas and my wife is Sarah.

Together we are trying to build a self-sustainable off-grid house. This means that we will be producing our own electricity, purifying our water and treating our waste-water.

So far we have acquired the land, cleared the building site, gotten architectural plans drawn up, and successfully applied for building permits. While waiting for the permits we have been actively collecting the building materials required to begin construction.

But things are rapidly becoming more and more expensive.

The next step in the project is to hire an excavation crew to  level the ground and instal radon pipe and other pre-foundation materials. This step is currently under way.





After the excavation company has installed radon pipe and leveled the build site they will instal a septic tank and leach field.

The following phase will be pounding 1300 tires full of dirt and framing the front wall.
