My name is Nataniel Fuentes Rojas, I'm 35 years old married to my lovely wife Natalia and we have 2 children (Theodoro 11 and Celeste 7). Currently I'm in Leonardtown in MD for business, but we live in my parent´s land in Florida, Concepción, Bio-Bio in Chile along with our 10 dogs and 10 cats.
This is our family:
My parents when near retirement (2010) went to live to their land where they have being working and planning and invest everything to live their retirements years (They had a 4 acre Fruit Orchards and a 2 acre Vegetable Gardens, to produce and get income from it).
-The Disaster-
On 23 Jan 2017 a huge fire started on the state where we live, it only got bigger with time. My Parents asked for help and started making firewalls and trying to extiguish the fire with neighbors, the autorithies never arrived, even as all the neighbors where working hard getting more and more people in order to prevent the fire from comming any closer. My parents fought constantly for 3 days getting almost no rest at all, however the fire was getting closer and closer and they just had to get back as the fire was inevitable, when the autorities finally got there, it was too late, and didn't allow anyone to get near our land.

As you can see, the fire got EVERYTHING, we hoped that the fire had somehow bypassed our land with the firewalls that where made, or that the wind could have change direction and go just on the trees, but on Jan 28, when my Parents finally where able to get back (roads got open) what they found left them speachless.

As you can see WE have LOST EVERYTHING, there is nothing to rescue because everything is turn down to ashes. For now, only 5 dogs (of 10) and 3 cats (of 5) have been found, we are all praying hoping the rest of them are OK.
I've lost everything I've build for my family in 15 years of work, but I'm young (35) and I know in the years to come I will be able to rebuild my home.
However my parents have LOST EVERYTHING they have work and build for 35 years, things that are priceless because of sentimental value and things that are imposible to get back, they lost their child photos, their teenage years photo album, wedding album, our childhood album, all our childhood videos and prizes and presents, all our grandmother handmade present (that are imposible to get back as both my grandmothers passed away on 2016), they also lost their 1893 great parent's piano, and they also lost their main income, in that they lost all of their Fruit Orchards, which took them 20 years of care to make them grow and start producing fruits in order to get income for their eldery years, and as they are also in their sixties they don't have the strenght nor can wait 20 years to get anything back
We had insurance, but the insurance company policy exclude National Disaster, as this was call and that the Goverment shall take care of it. Sadly we don't fit in any goverment program as we are all profesionals (My Father is a Dentist, Mother, Graphic Designer and I'm Electronic Engenieer) and we are middle class people, so the Goverment asume as they got enought income for their retirement years, and that they need no help at all. Which is totally absurd, as they got their Income from the land, and as everything is burned, even if we could get things running today (planting back the fruit orchards), it will take more than 10 years just to start getting something back from it.
-What are we going to do with the funds?-
I'm writing here because It's the only real help we can get for my parents. I reallize there is only some that I can do, even if I double all my work schedule and get exausted working as hard as I can, there is no much I can do in the short term, as for me to get enough saving in order to help them rebuild their home, will take no less than 10 years. Every friend I have had come near and offer me their help, but I know there is nothing they can really do on the long term, as it's not something one can take on their back, is just too much weight for just a few people. A friend of mine told me about "go fund me", and after researching about it, I realize is the only place that can really help them.
We are going to use the funds to rebuild my partens house and bring back the fruit trees (getting big ones and transplanting them) in order for them to start getting their life back. My parents cannot build their house on their own hands, as they don't have the youth to do so, nor the funds as they lost everything (all the retirement funds), so that's why I'm asking for funds in order to rebuil them their house, I know I can rebuild my house in time, but they cannot do for themselves.
-Why should you help my parent?-
My father is the most generous person I have known in my life, he is always trying to help other people, and sometimes going well beyond. They support a local rural school near our land where very low income kids learns, And every year they organize a Christmass Dinner and Santas Coming, so they ask the kids to make Santa's letter and to behave well on school. I use to play Santa, it's so moving to the the kids and their parent rejoice with happines to see their kids face and hapinness
My parent also do a lot to support the comunity, as they try to give jobs to the most people they can, as there is a lot to do in the land, as also on the Fruit Orchards, collecting periods, etc, etc. They are know for all the support they do for the comunitty, sadly it is a very poor comunity, but with a great heart. I cannot belive that my father is more worry for all the workers (and families ) that are going to loose their job because of this fire that the disgrace that had fallen on theirselves. I know my father may look harsh when you first meet him, but when you start to know him, you will see how generous and big heart he has.

Any donation is welcome, it can be small as $5, every donation help to bring us closer to rebuilding my partens house.

For everyone that donates +$50 I will take a personalized photo of how the rebuild is taking place once we get the funds to start with the rebuild.
For everyone that donates +$250 I will have your name engraved on a stone, near the entrance to my parents rebuild house, so we can always remember that because of your generosity we where able to get my parents house rebuild
For everyone that donates +$1000 I will have your photography (if you wish) also hanged near the entrance to my parents house and every year when we remember the rebuild of my parents home, we will join with the comunity and remember every one of you and pray for your good health and good fortune.
