Emperor Rebelo is amongst the best Killer Instinct players in the world and the undisputed best TJ Combo player. Known for his incredible reads and dramatic and exciting matches he's become a fan favourite with fighting game fans in general.
There's one acheivement that has thus far eluded him though; Winning a U.S. major in Killer Instinct.
Rebelo is a family man and as anyone with a wife/husband and kids will tell you, familys are expensive!
Funding a trip to Las Vegas just isn't possible for him right now on his own and that seems like a travesty, and a missed opportunity for all of his fans to seem him compete against the best on the very biggest stage.
We're asking your help to get him there.
We're asking to raise $2000 to cover the cost of flights, hotel, and other travel expenses. Flights from Canada are expensive!
Please keep in mind that gofundme takes 5% of all donations and WePay takes 2.9% plus .30 on every transaction so roughly 8% of all donations go to the crowd sourcing platform, and not Rebelo himself.
If enough extra funds are raised they will go towards sending Rebelo to CEO in hopes of securing one of generous pot bonuses offered by Iron Galaxies studios.
In the interest of complete transparancy, Rebelo didn't ask me to set this up for him but is aware of it and has given me his blessing to go ahead with it.
