Russia Summer School Volunteer Trip

The Mini-American Summer School in Koltsovo, Russia has operated for the past 11 years with Kevin McQuade, University of Toledo Adjunct Professor and former Newcomerstown Superintendent, as director . The summer school for Russian students grades 2-11 is designed to enhance English language interactive skills. A team of approximately 14 USA volunteer educators are selected to serve about 150 students each summer. Volunteer educators pay for their airfare & Visa to and from Russia. Meals, hotel stay, and cultural excursions during the summer school are paid for and provided by local summer school sponsors.

I am excited to share that I have been chosen to take part in this wonderful teaching experience! It has always been a dream of mine to teach overseas. I am requesting the community’s help to fund the airfare for my trip. In exchange for donations, I am willing to present my experience to any groups/organizations upon my return. Any financial assistance would be greatly appreciated!
