replacement work truck

Due to our new additions ( 2 boys, 2yr old and 3 month old) we have been a single income household for awhile now. Costs of living and unforseen circumstances have really been bearing down on us. This has led to putting off necessary purchases of a running work truck (current has bad transmission and will not pass inspection regulations any longer) and tires for the family car. Current truck is rusted out and not worth any$ , also would cost thousands to fix. I do carpentry and remodel and must have a reliable truck to haul tools. So I'm reaching out because this goal seems to just get farther and farther away. I don't require anything fancy. Just a running truck with heat for the winter. Those who know me know I'm not usually one to reach out for help, but I don't know what else to do. Thank you and bless you for taking the time to read this.
