Cockatoo Neighbourhood House (CNH) is a not-for-profit organisation that offers low cost short courses, workshops, Free Computer and Internet Access as well as Printing facilities. Supporting Community Events and Community Dinners. CNH is a major auspice body in our area. If a group needs funding for a project then we are able to help because we are an Incorporated Association which is often a requirement for funding of projects. Cockatoo Neighbourhood House (CNH) was set up after the 1983 Ash Wednesday bushfires, initially as a drop in centre, with support from the Red Cross. We have now been operating for 34 years.
Cockatoo Neighbourhood House needs to raise $2000 by June 30th to ensure we can continue to operate and grow. We are requesting every member of the Communities of Cockatoo, Gembrook and surrounding areas that we service for small donations. CNH needs to raise this amount to expand and improve our operations. You can also help by becoming a member at $5 per financial year. Call 5968 9031 for further information. Leave phone message if unattended. This is a one off request and we have a strategic plan in place for the upcoming financial year to ensure we are not in this position again. Thank you.
