Help R.A.I.N. Rescue Recover After Devastating Fire

In the early hours of the morning, around 2 a.m., the founder of R.A.I.N. Rescue and his wife were woken up to their house on fire. Thankfully, both of them made it out safely, but the damage left behind is heartbreaking. Their home, which also serves as both a permanent and foster home for many of the cats in their care, has been severely impacted.

At this time, it’s still unclear how many of the cats were able to make it out alive. For those who survived, we anticipate that many may need veterinary treatment for smoke inhalation, burns, or trauma. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

R.A.I.N. Rescue has spent years saving the lives of abandoned, injured, and homeless cats giving everything they have to provide safety, love, and hope. Now, they need us.

All funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward the emergency costs they are facing: veterinary care, temporary shelter, supplies, and recovery efforts from this unexpected and devastating loss. No amount is too small—every dollar helps and every share makes a difference.
