As salaamu alaykum, We're having a baby!!
Alhamdulilah Team Rahim is growing and glowing. We are preparing to welcome our newest addition in February inshaAllah and we are excited! Why are we excited? This joyous occasion will be done at home with a midwife inshaAllah.
People have been reaching out to us asking about how can they help and what do we need. Alhamdulilah we have set up this page for those to send support via donations to help pay for baby items and midwife expenses.
The typical cost of a midwife is usually:
"Midwife fee which is usually between 1500-3000 dollars. This fee covers prenatal care, birth, postpartum check up, newborn check up and screening. " --- http://www.home-birth-guide.com/homebirth-cost.html
We are asking the community to help offset the cost of the midwife expense (which we are paying without insurance, due to unfortunate circumstances) and baby items, such as cloth diapers, clothing, and other items inshaAllah... also aqiqah cost

Please, continue to keep us in your duaas and we will do the same. Please pray for us to have a healthy baby, and easy delivery. Mailing in baby items is acceptable upon request for the address inshaAllah

Kathir ibn 'Ubayd said, "Whenever a child was born among them, 'A'ishah would not ask if it were a boy or a girl. Instead she would ask, 'Is the child healthy (and without defect)?' If she was told, 'Yes,' she would say, 'Al-hamdulilah ar-Rabeel Alameen (All praise is for Allah, Lord of All the Worlds.'
