Troy and Wendy's Medical Fund

On 3/29 while traveling home from Galveston on their motorcycle, Wendy and Troy were hit by a car doing an illegal u-turn on 146.  Unfortunately both of them sustained some pretty serious injuries.  Troy has a broken wrist, several broken ribs, stitches, road rash and numerous cuts and scrapes.  Wendy sustained injuries to both of her legs, has numerous cuts, abrasions, road rash and bruises.  Her left leg has several fractures as well as her foot.  Her right leg took the impact of the car and was gashed open all the way to the bone.  Wendy went to surgery on the evening of 3.29 to try to repair the damage to her leg.  Unfortunately she has developed an infection and the tissue on the leg has started to die.  She is still in the hospital and at this point is unable to use either of her legs.  The doctors are giving her antibiotics and pain meds several times a day.  Another surgery is expected to take place in the next few days. And once they are able to clean everything up she will go home with a pic line to continue long term antibiotics to ensure the heath of her leg.   However currently both Wendy and Troy are out of work and Wendy has no health insurance to cover the medical costs that are currently mounting.  The fault of the accident is still under investigation so insurance benefits are not available.  If you can, please help us take some of the stress off of them while they try to recover from this horrible accident.  Thank you very much!
