Support Savannah

On Tuesday, March 31, 2015, 8 year old Savannah Talley was taken to Children's Hospital of Atlanta at Egleston by helicopter after collapsing at school. She was unresonsive and would not stop seizing. According to doctors, she had 1200 seizures in 20 hours before they were able to fully sedate her. She has been deemed a medical mystery by the CDC and is currently on life support and given a 50% chance.  She has been given the highest dose of medicine doctors can give an 8 year old to put her into a deep coma to let her brain rest.  A brain MRI, Spinal Tap, blood work, and all CT scans have come back normal, but it is still a mystery as to what caused this. Savannah received Cannibas Oil on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 after several people petitioned for her to get it. This was her last option.

At 9am on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, her parents received a call from the hospital stating they needed to get there fast. When they got there, they were told her blood pressure had dropped and her seizures were constant. After two big doses of Propofol, the seizures didn't even stop. Her parents gave her the Cannibas oil hoping for some kind of help, but none came. They called all family to come say their goodbyes to our precious Savannah. The doctors told her parents that either her heart would give out or her brain would hemorrhage. Later that night, Savannah was pronounced brain dead. She was taken off of life support the next day and officially passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 1:53pm.
