Dearest Ones, I’m writing to you, most loving and giving community, because our dear friend and colleague, BOB GAYNOR, needs us to rally together while he battles a very serious illness. He is currently in ICU at a hospital in NJ, fighting for his life.
Bob, you may or may not know, is known throughout the performing community as truly being one of the good guys; the sweetest of the sweet, handsome and hilarious. He has graced the stages in countless shows- dancing, acting, singing- you name it- he can do it all- from Aida to Taboo, Catch Me If You Can to Leap of Faith to Next To Normal and it was there that I got to be “Diana” to his “Dan” night after night, heartbreak after heartbreak. It was a journey that solidified a friendship for life.
Some people don't know that Bob also has another passion, that of interior design, which he and his partner, Dwayne, have put their hearts and souls into to form their own company- Clark Gaynor Interiors. This has opened up yet another world of friends and colleagues that have fallen in love with him.
I love Bob and I know you do too. I know you all have stories and thoughts on Bob; the fun, the joy, the crazy, the magical. He needs to hear them. He needs you now. Feel free to write here. Share. Send it out there. He is listening. Please do all you can for him; pray, send love, whatever you can to help him fight this fight.
His journey is going to require special medical attention and a long road to to get his strength and survive this. It's hard to say how much he and his beautiful love, Dwayne will need to see them through, but I'm starting somewhere in hopes that you will join me.
