Bob May House Fire 10 August, 2015

Donation protected
Bob May, a logger that has puled himself up in every manner from the tragic loss of his son three years ago  and the estrangement of his wife, had and has made a good life for himself and his pets (donkeys, horse and dog) until he lost his home in total this morning - thankfully, he was able to evacuate his home...

Bob credits his little dog with saving his life as the dog woke him up about midnight, letting him be aware of the fire (likely lightening caused) and to evacuate long  before his smoke alarms activated, also long after he would have died in the fire due to he roof collapsing.

To complicate matters, the Dent County Fire Protection District did not dispatch fire suppression units until after they had sent someone in a personal vehicle to verify that the fire department was actually needed.  At the time that that the fireman arrived to validate the necessity of a fire department response, the home could have still been saved, per Mr. May.

Mr. Bob May quite literally lost everything but the clothes on his back and his little dog.  He is now in need of everything from food to underwear to street and work cloths.  He did have Home-owner's insurance, but not nearly enough to pay off his mortgage or to build a new home.

Any amount will help - but your generosity would be most greatly appreciated for this fine Christian man.  All, and we do mean all, funds will go to Mr. May, less the fees that gofndme, com charges.
