Tank's Wheelchair
Donation protected
This is Tank, he is a rottweiler that is about 3years old. Tank has had a very rough start to his life. I found Tank & his friend Wylie out close to my house in the county. I believe they were dumped out there. Tank only has 3 legs. The vet believes he was shot with a shotgun & this is why he had to have his leg amputated, but when Tank had his leg removed it was done incorrectly so he can't walk very well. His spine has healed twisted & his other leg is messed up as well. His joint in the other leg is very weak because of the lack of treatment & the abuse. Tank & his friend Wylie were both covered in ticks & underweight when they rescued, as a result of the ticks they both have ehrlichia. Thankfully the Humane Society of West Texas in Lubbock, TX is going to put Tank & Wylie into their system so they can get their shots, microchipped, & get fixed. Tank & Wylie will also be treated for ehrlichia & will make a full recovery. TANK STILL NEEDS YOUR HELP, HE NEEDS A DOG WHEELCHAIR TO BE ABLE TO LIVE A HAPPY, HEALTHY LIFE. Unfortunatly dog wheelchairs can be expensive. They custom make the wheelchairs to fit the dogs personal needs. A customized wheelchair can run from $600 - $800, plus shipping, medical ect... The humane society is asking for your help. Any donations can be made on here or at Live Oak Animal Hospital at 5214 98th st. suite 100 Lubbock, TX 79424. (806) [phone redacted]
